First Day of School

Everyone got up on time this morning and got ready super quick.  How do I make this happen every school morning until next summer vacation?
Kate did a great job this morning when I dropped her off at school.  She found her cubby and she put her backpack away, she learned how to sign herself in, and then I gave her a big hug and she walked onto the playground.  When I picked her up after school, she was all smiles and said that Kindergarten is fun!  She made new friends and she had library time today.  She is all excited to go back to school tomorrow!
Zach LOVES his 2nd Grade teacher, Mrs. Cressey!  He is at Miles Lane now with Eleanor.  Eleanor helped Zach find his classroom this morning, but now he is able to find it on his own.  He is excited to learn Science!  Zach is also excited to go back to school tomorrow!
This was the first time in a few years that Eleanor didn't feel sick on the first day of school!  At the end of the school year last year, she was a bit nervous about having a male teacher this year.  It didn't seem to bother her this morning, though.  Mr. Craven, according to Eleanor is nice until someone starts being bad.  A boy in Eleanor's class had a rough day today.  Eleanor did a lot of writing today about herself.  Her class also spent time talking about themselves.  They also got a little crazy and did the hokey pokey.  :-)  4th Graders rule Miles Lane and have fun while doing it!
Emily was not excited to start 6th Grade this morning.  She discovered, though that she likes having different teachers for different classes.  It helps the day go by faster.  Emily was the only one with homework this evening.
Zoe wasn't nervous or excited about the first day of school.  She is an 8th Grader now!  She rules the middle school!
Eleanor & Kate had fun being twins today!

Noah & I had our first one on one time of many today!

Noah wanted to go to the Maine Jump, but I wanted to stay closer to home on the first day of school. We ran errands and we went to the park. It is unusually quiet around here now during the day! A little too quiet. Although, Noah is quite the chatterbox.

Love the first day of school photos. Kate will love it! Like the matching shirts. You can feel the excitement from the big smiles. Noah will be lonesome. Hope there is a buddy somewhere close to spend time with. He will love the one on one attention, though. Thanks for all the pictures!

I can't believe how grown up they all look! I am so sad we didn't make it out for a visit this year! WE MISS YOU GUYS! Have fun with Noah this school year. I loved the time I had one on one with Sam.
