I Love To See The Temple

Zoe & I went to the temple yesterday with the Dauk family (Peter, Tiffany, Ariel, Brittyn, & Morgan). My Mom watched their son, Nathan. She also watched Zach, Kate, & Noah for most of the day. Matt, Emily, & Eleanor worked on the new house. They also went to get ice cream and had dinner at McDonald's, so it wasn't all slave work as they would tell you.

Yesterday, was the Stake Relief Society temple trip and it was also Morgan's 1st time at the temple. She just turned 12 on August 8th. Yay! Zoe is so happy to have Morgan in Young Women's now!




Zoe & Morgan had fun taking pictures of themselves on the way back from the temple. There were a lot of goofy pictures, but I'll show you a good one.


During Family Council this evening, we talked about focusing our attention more on the Savior and strengthening our testimonies when we are home on Sundays. We had a very good evening as Zoe helped Kate prepare a lesson for FHE, Eleanor taught Matt & I about the temple, and the younger kids colored pictures of the temple. There was more love felt in our home, just as Elder L. Tom Perry said there would be. :-)
