Negative
For peace of mind, I took Emily to the doctor this afternoon to see if she has strep throat. She doesn't. I feel better now knowing for sure, but when the $65 bill comes, I'm sure I'll be regretting this decision!
I used to make long lists for my kids to look at when they got bored and pick out something. It never seemed to help. I need to go to that resource, since I have the kids a lot. It's already been a long summer!
Oh, that is frustrating...whenever I take my kids in, there is "nothing" wrong with them, but if I wait for a couple of days, I find out they've had an ear infection/strep/pneumonia etc for three days and I feel terrible! can't win... I hope Emily feels much better soon and can get on with enjoying summer vacation!
I mean nothing is wrong with them if I take them right in the first or second day they are sick - this usually happens after having one of the "wait it out until they are super duper sick and miserable and could have been cured days ago with antibiotics" experiences...
Re your comment - I have great memories, which I've been able to write about. I am a detail oriented person who probably drives my husband crazy. I guess maybe I should have said I have a heightened sense of awareness which has come because I'm thinking in terms of what to write about next. It's been fun.
