Grateful, Sleep-Deprived, & Sticking to my word

I went to church yesterday with 2 bags...
(Did you notice Kate's Nursery mug shot? She's holding a baby doll that belongs to another little girl in Nursery. When Kate sees a baby doll, she claims it! This picture was taped to the Nursery door for everyone to see. When Zoe & Emily saw it, they burst out laughing! It is a funny picture.)

...and I came home with all of these bags of clothes! (plus my 2 bags)

Guess what I'll be doing today...

Noah is still sleeping in his bed, but he has been going to bed around midnight and waking up several times during the night. Kate has also been waking up several times at night. Usually Kate will go right back to sleep after we give her her binkie, but last night she was wide awake and ready to get up at 3:30! I brought her into bed with us because I wasn't ready to start the day at 3:30 and I didn't want to listen to her scream. She slept a little bit, along with Noah, but I ended up getting up with them at 5:30. I have orders from Matt to not let them sleep today...we'll see. I'm thinking a nap for all of us would be good!

I was good yesterday and I let the girls help make dinner. Zoe helped mash the potatoes and squash, and she got the ham out of the packages and on to the stones to be broiled. Emily stirred the gravy. Eleanor helped open the can of cranberries and had a turn stirring the gravy. We had a very delicious meal...which we were supposed to enjoy at my parents' home, but my mom has a cold that she thought was going away on Saturday, but when she woke up Sunday morning she was feeling crappy again, so she brought the food over to our house while we were at church. Thanks mom!

It sounds like a good nap might be in order! I hate those kinds of nights...we still have those some times two and Vivi is 5! I can't believe I still have nights of my 5 yr old and 2 yr. old awake!
Love Kate's photo:) I am sure she is just "borrowing" everyone's babies, for a bit:)

That mug-shot of Kate is something else! We should save that and torture her with it when she is in Jr. High. (or middle school as its known in Buck's Port).

I LOVE squash. In fact, it might be my favorite food.

Oh man, I hope Noah starts sleeping better SOON! It is so hard to have the discipline to put them back in their own beds, when it is the middle of the night.

How exciting to have all of those clothes! that is great. LOVE the mug shot...
