Trying to save some money
In my last post I mentioned using Duncan Hines frosting on my sugar cookies. Well, usually I use Pillsbury frosting and I have discovered that with the Pillsbury frosting my sugar cookies are delicious, but with the Duncan Hines frosting my sugar cookies are okay. I bought Duncan Hines this time because it was cheaper...big mistake! I have learned my lesson.

My MIL always had the grandkids over to make cookies when they were little. I decided to carry on the tradition today - I don't think I have the patience she does. We haven't frosted yet. I was going to make my usual frosting, but I may go and buy Duncan Hines. Care Bear didn't know you could MAKE frosting!
Hope they sleep through the night again tonight. I have the kids here tonight because of Kristen's very late test at the hospital - they go to sleep late. I hoe they stay that way. I don't think Kristen has slept through the night for over 5 years!
Oops - I meant I may buy Pillsbury!
It that strange/frustrating how something so simple makes such a big difference. I remember your cookies! They are delicious!
