Zoe picked out cute turtle earrings for her first pair. When we first got to the store, there was only one lady there working so we thought she would have to have one ear done at a time, but by the time all the paper work was signed and we paid the bill (Matt asked if we were getting Zoe's ears pierced or buying a car!) another lady came in so they did both ears at the same time. Zoe was surprised at how quick it took. She had a look of awe on her face when it was done. She thought they would make the holes and then put the earrings in. She said it hurt more than she expected, but she's glad she did it. Now she has another excuse to spend time in front of the mirror!
The kids enjoyed shopping for each other and it was a very productive evening.
