Eating with the Bugs

We enjoyed such a beautiful day today! It was a sunny Friday after a week of clouds and rain, sweet! After swinging and playing outside, we decided it would be fun to have a picnic. Kate was a bit concerned about all the bugs around, but we managed to make it through our entire lunch without any bug attacks on anybody or the food. :-) There was one bug on the ground that I had to move away from Kate and send it in the opposite direction, but there were no other worries.

It was so sunny that Kate couldn't look my way for a picture. Too bright!

We moved into the shade where it was a bit cooler. Yay for finally having weather where we have to find shade! Kate still had to shield her eyes, and notice Noah copying Kate.

Kate tolerated one more picture while Noah dug into the food!


I took the kids to the park after school. It's fun to be at the park when friends are there and we saw several of our friends there today. :-)

Matt and I have been having a weekly datenight, which is AWESOME! It's always a fun end to a busy week.
