O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree...
This picture doesn't really do our tree justice, but we have our Christmas tree! A shorter tree with the top still on would look better, but once the tree was inside, it was staying inside, so we cut the top off. Why didn't we cut the bottom off instead? Because we're too lazy. This isn't the tree I picked out, but I think the same thing would have happened with my "perfect tree". Matt and I put the lights on and then the kids put the ornaments on the tree. I handed the ornaments out to keep things organized and to make sure the homemade ornaments and name ornaments were put on the tree by the creators and child who matched the name. I think it went very well. The kids had a great time and the tree looks well balanced...I think that is due to Matt's supervision.
Kate refused to pose with her siblings.

I am so glad that you finally got your tree!! It looks great.
It looks like a great time was had by all! I wondered where #6 was!
We're in the deep freeze today - it was -13 when we got up at 6:00. It reminds me of my life in northern Minnesota. Crazy for here, though!
Me again - I just clicked on your tree enlarged and saw the ice cream cone ornament - Kriten made one of those probably in kindergarten and we hung it for years and years. The cone finally broke, so we don't have it any more. Such memories!
That is quite a wall of pictures you have there in the background!
Love your festive look on the blog! Your tree is beautiful...I always love the traditional red. Thanks for coming by my blog, I do appreciate your visits.
It looks like a fun time decorating! The tree looks great:)
I can't believe how close to Christmas we are getting. It will be here before we know it!
I'm laughing at your tree! Because every year, if I don't supervise my husband, our tree looks the same way...like it's growing out the roof! This year I got out there in time to stop him so there's actually room to put a star on top!
