It rained Tuesday night and all day yesterday, so all of our snow is gone. You would think living in Maine would guarantee a white Christmas, but it doesn't. It is such a bummer to wake up Christmas morning when the world outside is brown and green. At least it is for me. Maybe we should move to Houston. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
Matt and I watched an episode of "Jon & Kate Plus Eight" last night. I'm not sure if it was the latest episode or not since it was the only episode available to watch on the Discovery website, but it was fun to watch. It was sort of like watching my own life, only I have 2 less and none of my kids are the same age. The sayings that came out of the mom's mouth were hilarious! It is a series I would like to watch from beginning to end now and I want to read their book, Multiple Bles8ings.
We also watched the movie, "Intolerable Cruelty" which I picked out and didn't like, but Matt enjoyed it. I fell asleep watching it, just as Matt predicted.

It is a series. On TLC, Monday nights:)
This reminds me of the movie White Christmas, which takes place in Vermont and they don't have any snow.
Me again - I got the magnetic nativity from Miles Kimball, too, if I remember right.
In California I dream of a foggy Christmas. One year we saw snow, but as soon as it hit the ground it melted.
I can't believe your little guy is 5 months old! It seems like it was only yesterday that you had him!
