I am trying to put up new artwork from Emily & Eleanor every few days. This piece by Eleanor was up over the weekend.
Today, I put up Emily's Hawaiian shirt that she made for the Hawaiian beach party at her school. At the end of every school year, there is a beach day in the cafeteria at lunchtime. The kids get to dress in beach attire, listen to steel drums, receive special treats, and dance around the cafeteria. Oh yeah, and they eat lunch, too.
I took Zoe & Emily to Activity Days this evening. It was bookclub night, so we talked about the book that we all read, "The Two Princesses of Bamarre". Kristen had the girls throw Wham-O Air Darts through a target and if they did it, then she would ask them a question about the book.
The girls also decorated their babysitting bags. They are collecting babysitting ideas and activities to put in their bags for when they start babysitting. Zoe just received her first babysitting job yesterday...and she wasn't even looking for one! She will be staying with Robert & Jodee Baird, their daughter, and their granddaughter, who is 2 for a week in July. She will be the nanny, so she'll get to go on different adventures with the family and she will also babysit when the adults want some time alone. Zoe is so excited and she should be. She is going to have so much fun and I know she'll do a great job!
